After a long time Sony created a phone that will compete with Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. In last few year Sony was not announced any high-end flagship phone that will unique and perfect in every corner. So keeping this in mind Sony is come up in the market with its new smartphone Xperia Z. Xperia Z is the first 5″ 1080p display smartphone from Sony and they will be one step ahead from competitor that directly Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5, which was best successor in 2012 last year. So is Sony really create a smartphone which is make them a great innovator in the market? Let’s check it out what packs into Xperia Z.
General:
Sony Xperia Z support quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 3G with HSPA and LTE which support up to 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speed. It also has the Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. There is 3.5 mm audio Jack on the top of the phone. Accelerometer and proximity sensor, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
Display:
Xperia Z is the first phone which come up with 5″ 1080p capacitive touchscreen with 441 ppi pixel density and Bravia Mobile Engine 2 which is looks better than 720p touchscreen phone.
Processor & RAM:
Sony Xperia Z has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset which is quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU, Adreno 320 GPU on the board. Also it has the 2 GB RAM which more than enough in the smartphone.
Operating System:
Sony puts Android operating system 4.1.2 Jellybean version with custom UI built-in phone.
Memory:
16 GB built-in memory for the Xperia Z with microSD slot which upgradable up to 32 GB for storage option, company is not launched 32 GB model in the market.
Camera:
Sony put 13 MP autofocus camera with 1080p video recording @ 30fps HDR mode and LED flash into Xperia Z, also there is 2.2 MP front-facing camera you can also record video @ 1080p mode.
Final Words:
This is the first 5″ 1080p display touchscreen phone from Sony they tried to pack everything in this phone to make this phone unique in this category. They introduced IP 57 certification dust resistant and water resistant for saving the phone from any damages. Display of Xperia Z is really good, colour is so natural thanks to Bravia Engine 2 display. But phone really depress into poor loudspeaker, there is no in-built 32 GB phone option. Battery of Xperia Z is not replaceable so you can not replace the battery. The Android OS into Xperia Z is jellybean 4.1.2 version but there is 4.2.1 version is already available in the market.
Overall Sony create a phone which is come with great innovation and unique features like dust resistant and water resistant to save the phone from natural damages. Sony fan should be like this phone as there first phone.
